Introducing the New Communication Officer of ENGSO
Mariann Bardocz-Bencsik joined ENGSO in May as Communication Officer. Mariann has long been in contact with ENGSO: back in 2011 she worked on our Creating a Level Playing Field EU project as the contact person for one of the project partners, Semmelweis University. In 2013 she joined ENGSO Youth as young delegate and in the previous term, from April 2015 until June 2017 she was a Committee member of ENGSO Youth.
Here are some thoughts from her about herself and this new role: „International sport work and communication have been in my life for the past 7 years. I was doing communication work for the Semmelweis University’s sport faculty in Hungary and I was the press officer of the Hungarian Curling Association for 5 years until recently. This latter was the position where my two passions met: the sport I practice and the job I love doing. I swopped that role to this new and exciting opportunity at ENGSO. I hope that I can contribute to ENGSO’s work with my experience in European grassroots sports and communication. I’m particularly happy that I can work together with my compatriot, Orsolya Tolnay, with whom our paths have crossed several times in the past 10 years, since we attended the same university in Budapest.”
