How do elite athletes stay #BeActive?

As the coronavirus pandemic affects our lives all over the world, athletes need to find new and innovative ways to stay fit. Some of them share their workout routines on social media, encouraging everyone to #BeActive as much as possible. Below you can find some inspiration to stay active while practicing social distancing.

One of Great Britain's most popular athletes, diver Tom Daley has started a home workout video series on his Instagram and YouTube channel. All workouts are approximately 10-minute long. He claims that "If you can manage to do 10 minutes of movement and 10 minutes of exercise each day, it's going to make you feel so much better and give you more energy and hopefully a more positive outlook."

7-time Paralympic champion wheelchair racer, Tatyana McFadden, posted a short workout video on her Instagram. In the clip, she shows three exercises that anyone can do while sitting. She advises us to use a resistance band for maximum impact.

Frimpong Akwasi is a Dutch-Ghanaian skeleton athlete, the only athlete representing the African continent in skeleton at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. He teamed up with BBC to design a home workout for the time of isolation.

Brazilian handball star Eduarda Amorim shares some exercises on her Instagram. Lack of barbells, she gets some help from her English bulldog, Thor.

Real Madrid's centre-back, Raphael Varane shows a great example on his Instagram on how to combine home workouts with homeschooling.

4-time world champion judoka, Clarisse Agbegnenou is also staying active while practicing social distancing. She shared some of her exercises on her Instagram.

Regardless of where are you in the world and what type of exercises you prefer, the most important is to #StayAtHome and #BeActive!
