Excel at home!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a great portion of the world's population is under lockdown. Through traditional and social media, we are constantly being encouraged to stay at home, stay positive and take care of our health. The latter includes being active at home. This can be challenging though, we admit. That's why we had a look around on social media to see how professional athletes and dancers keep being active at home, practicing their own routines under altered circumstances. Have a look at some of the most motivating ones.

4-time Olympic champion gymnast Simone Biles took up the currently trending handstand challenge which has an added difficulty to it: participants need to take off their sweatpants while doing the handstand. In Simone's case, it turned out to be a handwalk actually, which made it even more difficult for her.

Andri Ragettli is a versatile freestyle skier, who does a whole bunch of agility exercises on the side for the internet's entertainment. Under lockdown, he did a home parcour routine.

Boglárka Kapás is a world champion Hungarian swimmer, who has just recovered from coronavirus. As she is still not able to train in her regular swimming pool, she does it in her backyard pool with the help of a resistance band.

Joseph Aumeer is a dancer at The Royal Ballet. Under lockdown, he practices in his bedroom. Even if it's not always without difficulties...

We hope that these excellent examples help you stay motivated to #BeActiveAtHome.
