CHANGE will develop educational program on innovation and change management for Sport Federations
In October 2022, ENGSO and the partner organisations gathered in Papendal, The Netherlands, on the occasion of the 2022 European Sport Platform, to officially kick off the new Erasmus+ Sport funded project CHANGE.
CHANGE – Cooperation for Change Management and Innovation in Sports is a 36-month project involving researches, innovation experts and sport professionals from 11 partner organisations and from 9 different countries:

The COVID-19 pandemic and the current energy crisis have both accelerated the need for a more agile and innovative ways of managing the European Sport Federations and clubs.
The Erasmus+ Sport funded Project CHANGE builds on the foundation of project CHAMP. Its main aim is to develop an educational program on innovation and change management tailored for the Sport Federations and umbrella sport organisations that work with and support the grassroot sport sector.
Through the 16 outputs developed, Sport Federations and umbrella sport organizations will be equipped with resources and knowledge on how to recover from- and face challenging and critical contexts, such as the Covid-19 pandemic or the current energy crisis.
The main topics covered, under the highlight theme of "innovation and change management", will be: - Digital transformation;
- Sustainability strategies;
- Inclusion and engagement.
The kick off meeting took place on 12-13 October 2022, in Papendal, The Netherlands, on the occasion of the European Sport Platform 2022.
