Eco-friendly in Zagreb: first Committee meeting of the year

The first ENGSO Youth Committee meeting of the year took place in Zagreb, Croatia, on 8-9 February 2020. The theme of the meeting was “bio, organic and environment-friendly”. During our stay in Zagreb, we walked instead of using public transport, ate in restaurants with organic and vegetarian food, and tried to minimise our waste and consumption.

Sport for Sustainable Development project

We are extremely proud to announce ENGSO Youth’s first transcontinental, Erasmus+ Programme funded project; "Sport for Sustainable Development". The project is a collaboration between five partners from three continents: Europe, Africa and Asia.

The project partners are: ENGSO Youth as the coordinator, University of Physical Education (Hungary), Sport and Citizenship, the National Olympic and Sports Committee of Senegal and Kokushikan University (Japan). The kick-off meeting will take place in Budapest, Hungary on 20-21 March 2020.

Sport for Active Citizenship toolkit

The most important outcome of the 2019 Young Delegates meeting in Budapest, “Sport for Active Citizenship", is a manual on how we can use sport to encourage active participation of youth in society. We are very happy to let you know that this manual has now been released.

ENGSO Youth is extremely grateful for the international and intergenerational team who invaluably contributed to the creation of the manual, especially to the ENGSO Youth Young Delegates and the editors of the toolkit.
