E-consultation on sports funding -
European Commission study on Internal market barriers on sports funding

The European Commission has launched a study on the funding of grassroots sports in the 27 Member States. The study aims at analysing the barriers on sport funding and identifying the means to strengthen the development of grassroots sport across the European Union.

This consultation represents a first step of the study: it is aimed to allow everyone to give his/her opinion about the stake of grassroots sports' funding. It will end on January 31 2010. http://ec.europa.eu/sport/news/news881_en.htm.
